Lookup Question command

Use this command to add a lookup question to your model. It inserts a lookup question line at the cursor position. If you are not on a blank line, you have the option of overwriting the existing line or inserting the new line above it.

Lookup questions ask for the path and name of a Microsoft® Excel file. You can use lookup questions, in combination with question formulas, to link existing Excel spreadsheets to your model. Model Estimating includes two functions that return values from a spreadsheet: Get Cell Number and Get Cell Text.

Tip: This command is available on the Model window when you right-click a line header and choose Insert Line – Lookup Question Line.
