Check Model window

This window displays any problems found during the Check Model process.

When running Check Model, Estimating makes sure that all assemblies, items, formulas, and variables are still part of the database, that all defaults are within specified limits, and that calculations for items and assemblies have not changed since last checked. In addition, this process removes any unused variable defaults. Any discrepancies are listed in this window and can be saved or printed.

Tip: During the Check Model process, a progress bar displays in the bottom of this window. Click [Stop] to halt the process.

Items in this window

Check Model log

Displays any problems found during the Check Model process. By reviewing this log, you can determine how to make a model produce the desired results. At the end the log lists the total number of errors and warnings. You can print or save this information using the commands in the toolbar.

Stops the Check Model process.
