Assembly unit

Enter the unit used to label the cost per unit for the entire assembly. The assembly unit is usually the most logical unit when applied to the assembly quantity. Assembly units appear in the Assembly Takeoff window, spreadsheet, and reports that include the cost per unit. Group assemblies do not have a unit.

Tips:  

  • You can enter the unit or click Down arrow to choose from a list.
  • Sage Estimating (SQL) updates this field with the unit of the formula selected for the assembly.
  • To edit or create a unit, choose Edit Unit on the shortcut menu.
