Waste %
Shows the percentage (up to 2 digits) of the takeoff quantity added to the order quantity for waste or compaction. You can change the default waste percent, which comes from the item, for this estimate. If the field is empty, you can enter a value for this estimate.
If you apply waste, the order quantity is calculated by increasing the takeoff unit by a specified percentage, as shown in the example below.

Tip: When you apply waste, only the order quantity increases; the takeoff quantity remains the same.
