Formula
Enter a unique name (up to 20 characters) to identify each
formula in the standard database. The name should be as descriptive as possible
to help you remember the purpose of a formula. You should include what
the formula is calculating and which unit of measure is used. Example:
Vol CY – Concrete. You can click

Tips:
- Since you may eventually have hundreds of formulas, it is important to use a consistent naming style that helps you find the desired formula in a list.
- To make names more legible, capitalize only the first letter of each word.
- You can set up a formula that requires a YES or NO answer by ending its name with a question mark (?). Using a YES/NO formula within another formula allows you to obtain a result based on a certain condition. For example, your answer to "Is adhesive needed?" could be used to determine whether an item for framing adhesive is generated for an estimate.
