Renumbering WBS codes
You can change the order of WBS codes throughout the standard database or estimate.
You use the Move WBS Code window to change the order of WBS codes.
To renumber WBS codes:

Open the WBS Settings window.
On the ribbon, click the .

Select Estimate or Database, depending on whether you want to work with WBS codes for the estimate or for the standard database.
Note: If both an estimate and a standard database are open, the Estimate WBS Settings window appears initially. You can use the options to switch between the Estimate and the Database Settings. (If only an estimate or a standard database is open, you cannot switch to the other option.)
- Click [Move].
- Enter the desired number for each WBS in the New Position column. Or you can just drag the selected WBS code to a different location.

Click [OK].
Before starting the process, which may take a few minutes, Sage Estimating asks you to confirm that you want to renumber the WBS codes.
- Click [OK] when asked to confirm.
Tip: Changes to WBS codes in the standard database do not affect existing estimate.
