Rate Tables

Controls which rate tables Sage Estimating (SQL) uses to recalculate the labor and equipment prices in the estimate.

Reprice using estimate rate tables recalculates prices using the current rate table information in the estimate. This option ensures that any changes to rate table information in the estimate are used to update prices throughout the entire estimate.

Update estimate rate tables from database and reprice copies rate tables from the standard database into the estimate and uses the information to recalculate prices. For this process to succeed, the standard database must contain every resource and rate table used in the estimate. Items with missing crew information remain unchanged, and the reason for each omission appears in the report.
