Spreadsheet report window
This report includes the contents of the spreadsheet using the sort levels, ranges, fonts, and layout of your choice. The width of the report depends on the visible columns and their size. There are also options to allocate addons; combine items; round prices and quantities; include the cover page, estimate totals, and level totals; and print grid lines and shaded headings.
Use the buttons in the window to print, preview, or export the report. Before printing, you can view or change the report options and printer setup. For more information, click
on
the title bar of the window and then click a button.
Tips:
-
Because report information comes from the current estimate, you need to have an estimate open before you can print a report. For information about opening an estimate, see Opening an estimate.
- The report layout is based on the settings in the Spreadsheet Report Options window. If you want the printed report to look just like your current spreadsheet in Sage Estimating (SQL), click [Prefill from Spreadsheet]. Sage Estimating (SQL) changes the settings in the Spreadsheet Report Options window to match the setup of your estimate.
- You can also display a report in a saved layout. Click the Font/Layout tab. Under Prefill from Layout, select the saved layout you want to use.
- Exporting this report to Microsoft Excel also exports all formulas associated with the spreadsheet. For example, if your spreadsheet is set up to report the Labor Amount (Labor Quantity column * the Labor Price column), clicking on the Labor Amount column in the Excel spreadsheet reveals the resulting calculation formula as I4*K4 (where I4 is the Labor Quantity column and K4 is the Labor Price column).
