Duplicating an existing spreadsheet filter

You use the Edit Spreadsheet Filters window to duplicate an existing filter.

  1. On the ribbon, click the Filters button "" to open the Edit Spreadsheet Filters window.

  2. On the grid in the Edit Spreadsheet Filters window, select the row containing the filter you want to copy and then click [Duplicate].

    Estimating inserts a new line in the grid with a default name that consists of the original name appended with "(Copy)".

  3. Double-click in the Name field for the new filter, and then type a unique name for the new filter.

  4. If you want to edit the new filter, in the new row, click the ellipsis icon ("") in the Filter Expression cell.

    Estimating displays the filter in the Edit Spreadsheet Filter Expression window, where you can edit it. When you finish editing the filter, click [OK] to return to the dit Spreadsheet Filter window.

  5. Click [OK}.
