Use this command to adjust the width of the selected columns to fit the widest entry based on the current font. Sage Estimating (SQL) applies the best fit only to the levels currently shown in the spreadsheet.
Best Fit is on the shortcut menu for column headers.
Tips:
- Another way to run the Best Fit command is by double-clicking the right border of a column header.
- Best Fit also increases the height of the column header row to show the full column name.
- You can use Column Properties on the shortcut menu to set the column to a specific number of characters based on the current font.
