Sum cell

The Sum= cell is the cell in the corner of the status bar.

When using the Copy Sum feature

The cell holds the running total of selected takeoff quantity cells. You will not see a total here if:

• You select less than two takeoff quantity cells.
• You select Copy Sum after you select multiple takeoff quantities.
• You select cells in the Takeoff Quantity column and then click outside the Takeoff Quantity column before you select Copy Sum.
• You select cells in the Takeoff Quantity column of one spreadsheet and then open another spreadsheet.

When using the Auto Sum feature

The cell holds a running total of selected cells. You will not see a total here if you select less than two cells in the columns where the auto sum feature is available. See About Auto Sum for more information.
