About the Configuration wizard

After setting up your Sage license server and your Sage Estimating SQL Server database and activating your Sage Estimating licenses, you need to configure individual workstations to connect to these servers.

You use the Configuration wizard to specify licensing and server options on each workstations where Sage Estimating is installed.

You use the Licensing tab to:

• Specify the type of license you are using, if you have not already allocated a license to the computer you are working on.
• Point your computer to the Sage license server by specifying its location and port number.
• Check out a license.
• View registration information.

You use the Data Server tab to:

• Point your computer to your Sage Estimating data by specifying the location of the server that hosts your Estimating database.
