Crew
Select this option to set up complete crew and productivity information for the item. Each item has:
- A productivity rate (also known as labor or equipment conversion). This is calculated from the Means Daily Output for the item.
- A complete crew set up in the crew field. (Any necessary labor and equipment resources are added to your labor/equipment resources grid. Rates for resources are set up in a rate table named after the currently selected Means Integrator Cost Data file.)
- An order unit of Hour.
- An hourly rate in the Labor and Equipment price field (calculated from the Means daily crew costs).
Hourly
Select this option to set up only productivity, order unit, and labor/equipment price for the item. Each item has
- A productivity rate (also known as labor or equipment conversion). This is calculated from the Means Daily Output for the item.
- An order unit of Hour.
- An hourly rate in the Labor and Equipment price field (calculated from the Means daily crew costs).
Unit
Select this option to transfer only the cost per unit (for example, $/sqft). These unit costs are equivalent to the item costs shown in the Means Cost Data books.

o |
Does not include the cost of overhead and profits in the item prices. Item prices are equal to the "Total" column in the Means Cost Data book. |
|
☑ |
Includes the cost of overhead and profits in the item prices by spreading it over each of the item's cost categories. (Means Integrator automatically selects all the cost categories, Labor, Material, Equipment and Other, for repricing.) Item prices are equal to the "Total Incl O & P" column in the Means Cost Data book. Note: Means Integrator does not apply overhead and profits to items that use crew pricing. |
