Generate Models window

This window is used to select which estimate models you want to generate into the spreadsheet.

To open: On the Model Takeoff window, select Estimate as the source and click [Generate].

Items in this window

Model List

Displays the code and reference of every estimate model that has a status of Ready to Generate or Ready to Re-Generate. Select the Generate option next to each model you want to include in your estimate.

 

[Select All]

Selects the Generate option for each model in the list.

 

[Clear All]

Removes the Generate option from each model in the list.

 

Generation Log

Lists each model generated along with its items and assemblies. Any problems found during generation appear at the end of the log.

 

[Save Log]

Saves the information shown on the screen after you finish generating a model to the spreadsheet.
