Selection

Choose the total to be used as the cost basis for this addon. Use one of these settings:

• Previous subtotal uses the prior subtotal, but not addons below that subtotal. This lets you base several addons on the same currency amount instead of the running total.

  For example, if you want to calculate an addon based on the previous subtotal, you should choose the Total Cost option. Then in the Totals window, you need to insert this addon immediately below the subtotal you want to use as the basis.

• Current total uses the total of all cost categories and addons above this addon.

  For example, if you want to calculate an addon based on the current total, you should choose the Current Total option. Then in the Totals window, insert this addon immediately below the last amount you want to include in the basis. All amounts above this addon are used as the basis for this addon.

• Estimate total uses the total of the entire estimate (including the Estimate Total addon).
