Crews command

Use the Crews command to create and edit the individual crews in the standard database. A window opens so you can enter the name, description, and resources for each crew. Then when you assign a crew to an item, Sage Estimating (SQL) calculates the labor and equipment prices based on the rate tables specified for an estimate.

Open the Crews window in one of the following ways:

  • On the ribbon, from the Crews group on the Data tab, click Crews.

  • From the spreadsheet, right-click a crew, and then select Edit Crew from the shortcut menu.

    • Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

    To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

Note: Either Edit Crew or Create Crew is usually on the shortcut menu when you are working with crews in other windows.
