Rate Tables command

Use this command to create and edit the rate tables in the standard database.

You use the Database Rate Table window to enter the name, description, rates, and benefits for each rate table. Sage Estimating (SQL) uses the rate tables assigned to an estimate to calculate the labor and equipment prices for items with crews.

Open the Database Rate Tables window in one of the following ways:

On the ribbon, from the Crews group on the Data tab, click Rate Tables.

Tips:

  • Edit Rate Table is on the shortcut menu when you are working with rate tables in other windows.
  • Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

  • The rate table fields on the Estimate Information window (Main tab) determine which rate tables apply to an estimate.
  • You can set up default labor and equipment rate tables in the Database/Estimate Settings window.
