Setting up a new crew resource
Note: This feature is available only if you have a license to use Crews.

- On the ribbon, from the group on the tab, click .

From the spreadsheet, right-click a crew, and then select Edit Crew from the shortcut menu.
Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.
To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

Use the Source option to specify whether to save the new crew to the estimate or to the standard database.
- Click [Add] to open the Adding Resource window.

Complete the fields in the window.

on the title bar of the window, and then click a field or button. - (optional) Enter notes
for the resource:
- Click [Notes], and then enter the notes in the Resource Notes window.
- Click [OK].
- When you finish setting up the resource, click [OK] to save it.
Tip: You can quickly add a resource by using Create Resource from on the shortcut menu when you are working with crews and rate tables. Resources added using this command are stored in the same location (estimate or standard database) as the crew or rate table from which the command was initiated.
