Setting up subtotals in the Totals window

Before you start

If you have not already done so, open the Totals window in one of the following ways:

On the ribbon, from the Estimate Views group on the Home tab, click  Totals.

To set up a subtotal:

  1. Place the cursor at the addon row where you want to insert a subtotal.
  2. Click The Subtotals button.

    3. Sage Estimating (SQL) inserts a subtotal above the current addon row and moves the cursor to the Description column.

  3. (optional) Enter a description (using up to 30 characters).

Tip: To add or edit a subtotal description, right-click in the subtotal Description column, and then click Edit Description from the shortcut menu.
