What happens when you combine assemblies

When you put the spreadsheet into a Combine Assembly sequence, Sage Estimating (SQL) consolidates each matching assembly under a single Combined Assembly overline with all assembly items listed below the overline.

An overline is any level of the spreadsheet based on the spreadsheet sequence. For example, if the spreadsheet is in Phase/Item order, the primary overline is group phase and the secondary overline is phase.

To combine matching items into one line:

On the ribbon, from the Spreadsheet Actions group on the Home tab, click Combine Items.
