Cutting or copying items from one estimate to another

Paste command

Use this command (Home tab > Clipboard group) to insert a copy of the clipboard contents at the pointer position. You can paste a selection within the same estimate or into a different estimate. The selection may include one or more spreadsheet items or the contents of a single cell or field.

This command is not available if the clipboard is empty.

Tips:  

  • From the keyboard, press Ctrl+V.
  • Bid Grids are not included in paste operations.
  • You can also drag items from one estimate to another.
  • To open the shortcut menu, right-click.

    • Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

    To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.
