Printing estimate reports

You can print a report on paper, preview it on your screen, or export it in several convenient formats.

You can use the export option to save a report as a PDF, an Excel file, or an ASCII text file.

  • PDF files preserve the report's format and layout, so this format is convenient when you want to send reports in email notices or post them in a central location.
  • Text files can be pulled into other programs, such as a word processor. You can format the file with or without separators (such as commas) between values to make it compatible with other applications.
  • Excel files lend themselves to further analysis using all the capabilities of Excel. They can also integrate with tools like Power BI.

The printing procedure is similar no matter which report you choose to print.
