BOM Desc column

This spreadsheet column shows the BOM description for each item as set up for the bill of materials (BOM).

Tips:  

  • To change the BOM description for an item, select Edit Bill of Materials from the shortcut menu.

    Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

    To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

  • The BOM description also appears in the Unit Costs tab of the Detail window.
