Using the calculator to calculate the takeoff quantity for an item

Use this command if you need to perform a calculation, such as totaling several dimensions, to determine the value for a particular field. The command opens a window where you can enter the values and operators for an equation.

Tip: To start the calculator from numeric fields and columns, right-click and choose Calculator from the shortcut menu.

Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.
