Replace Pass button

The Replace Pass button calculates the takeoff quantities and uses the result instead of the quantity already in the takeoff grid. Sage Estimating (SQL) generates one pass to reverse the original pass and another to add the replacement quantity.

Quantities are calculated only for items with formulas. Two things are required to obtain the correct results:

• A formula attached to each item.
• A full set of properly named variables. This is important because a variable appears just once in the variable pane even though it may occur in several formulas.
