Scissor icon for Edit Cut Cut command

Use this command to remove the selected text from its present location and save it to the clipboard. You can then paste the selection elsewhere in the model.

Tips:  

  • A selection is required before you can choose the Cut command.
  • The selection remains on the clipboard and is available for pasting somewhere else until you cut or copy again. Each cut or copy replaces anything previously stored on the clipboard.
  • From the keyboard, press Ctrl+X.
