Variable grid

This area contains all variables used by the formulas attached to the selected item or assembly. Each variable appears just once regardless of how many formulas use that variable. Verify the default values and enter any missing values for each variable. These values are used to calculate the takeoff quantities.

Tips:

  • To remove the link between a variable and the question that feeds, it right click in the variable field and select Disconnect from Default.
  • To remove the variable you have entered, and restore its original default, right click in the variable field and select Clear Variables.
  • Click An image of a Paperclip, used to indicate that a note is attached to add information about the current pass. The Pass Notes window opens so you can enter the note.
  • To hide or display fields in the grid, click An eye icon for Display Options to open the Display Options window and select the appropriate options.
  • To adjust the size of the grid or width of a column, place the cursor on one of its borders and drag in the desired direction.
