Range Choice

Determine how to apply the addon costs for the selected cost basis. You can apply the addon to all items or to items in a range of phases, locations, alternates, or WBS codes.

Enter the first and last items of the range in the From and To fields respectively. To apply the addon to a single phase, location, or WBS enter the same code or name in both fields.

Tips:

Select None to include all items.
For a Lump Sum or Other cost basis addon, the Work Breakdown Structure Range determines how the addon is distributed when allocated, not when calculating the amount of the addon.
If the Totals window includes a totals-based addon with a range, Sage Estimating (SQL) uses that range only when allocating the addon, not when calculating the amount of the addon.
For an Other cost basis addon, the range does not affect the addon amount. If the allocatable option is marked, the addon amount is distributed to items in the spreadsheet and on reports based on the category and range selections.
