Add Item command

Use this command (shortcut menu) to add one or more items to an assembly during takeoff. After you switch the list from assemblies to Items, you can choose the items you want to add in the usual manner.

Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

Add Item is on the shortcut menu for the takeoff grid in the Assembly Takeoff window.

Tips:  

  • Double-click or press [Enter] to choose a single item.
  • You can drag multiple items to the grid.
