Saving a one-time assembly to the standard database

When you add an assembly during assembly takeoff, you choose to save the new assembly either in the standard database or with the estimate as a one-time assembly. If, at a later time, you want to save a one-time assembly in the standard database, follow these steps.

To save a one-time assembly in the standard database:

  1. Click The Assembly Takeoff – Review button to start assembly takeoff.
  2. Right-click the one-time assembly in the list, and then click Edit Assembly on the shortcut menu.
  3. Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

  4. Click [Add].
  5. Click [Prefill], and then select the Database option.
