You can easily cut or copy and paste the contents of a single field or cell within the same estimate or into a different estimate. The following rules apply to these operations.
- Any cell or field can be copied.
- Only cells and fields you can edit allow a cut or paste.
- Only numbers can be pasted into numeric cells or fields.
- When you are pasting, the selection cannot exceed the width of the cell or field.
- When you paste to a cell or field that can only be filled from a dropdown list, the selection must be an existing entry. You cannot create a new entry by pasting some other selection.
