Changing an existing variable

  1. Open the Variable window in one of the following ways:

    • On the ribbon, from the Calculations group on the Data tab, click Variables.
    • In classic view, click Database menu > FormulasVariables.
  2. Click image\list.gif, and then select the variable you want to change.
  3. Make changes as needed.

    To change the variable name, click [Rename] and enter the new name in the Variable field.

    For more information, click image\windhlp.gif on the title bar of the window, and then click a field or button.

  4. When you finish changing the variable, click [OK] to save it.
  5. Change other variables in the same manner. When you finish, click [Close].
