What happens when you combine assemblies
When you put the spreadsheet into a Combine Assembly sort
sequence, Sage Estimating consolidates each matching assembly
under a single Combined Assembly overline
with all assembly items listed below the overline. Note that the items
that make up individual assemblies are not combined. To combine matching
items into one line, select Home tab > Spreadsheet group > Combine (in classic view select View menu > Combine or click 
on the toolbar). An asterisk displays
at the beginning of rows that contain combined items.
