As you work, you will encounter various units of measure throughout Sage Estimating.
Items have separate units for the takeoff and order quantities. The unit of measure you use for takeoff can be the same or different from the one for pricing. Both units appear at the item level on the spreadsheet and reports.
In addition, Sage Estimating calculates labor and equipment hours if items have a time-based order unit. Crew pricing requires items to have a time-based order unit for labor and equipment.
