Cutting or copying items from one estimate to another
- Open both estimates.
- From the row headers,
select the items you want to cut or copy.
- Click
or
on the toolbar.
- Click the estimate
where you want to paste the items.
- Click
.
Tips:
- The pasted information includes
all levels except assemblies. Items automatically appear in the proper
but items from assemblies will be unassigned.
- Remember, you cannot add
items to an assembly after takeoff. You can, however, paste items elsewhere
within an assembly or in the Unassigned level.
- The estimates do not have
to be organized in the same sequence. For example, one estimate could
be in Phase/Item order and the other could be in Location order.
- If the estimates use the
same standard database, crew information comes with the items. If the standard databases
differ, Sage Estimating removes the crew and rate tables from the selected
items.
- Subcontractor bids (in the
Bid Grid) are not included in cut and copy operations.
