$image\bidbtn.gif$ Open Bid Grid command

Use this command to enter bids for the selected items. The command opens the bid grid where you can store the bids received from subcontractors for a group of items. When you open the bid grid, Sage Estimating highlights all of the included items in the spreadsheet.

The first time you open the bid grid, its contents depend on whether a subcontractor is already assigned to the selected item in the spreadsheet.

Tips:

To open the bid grid, click $image\bidbtn.gif$ in the Sub Amount or Bid Grid column of the spreadsheet.
Open Bid Grid is also on the shortcut menu for the Sub Amount and Bid Grid columns in the spreadsheet.
To enter bids that cover several items, Shift or Ctrl-click each of the included items before you open the bid grid.
Items cannot belong to more than one bid grid at a time.
The bid grid is not available when items are combined in the spreadsheet.
