Phase tab

If you plan to use phases with your estimates, select the number of digits for your Sage Estimating phase code suffix.

The phase suffix formats the phase code by setting aside part of that 9-character code for a suffix. The suffix determines how many digits are to the right of the decimal point.

To display this tab, click [Standard DB] at the top of the Estimating Management Console, and then click [New Standard Database] or click the new standard database button on the Standard Database Catalog toolbar Image of the New Standard Database button on the toolbar. In the New Standard Database window, select the Phase tab.

Phase code formats
Phase Code Format Suffix Example
0 9 characters; no suffix CONC3100
1 7.1 characters CNC3100.0
2 6.2 characters CN3100.00
3 5.3 characters C3100.000

The phase code suffix you select is applied automatically to all phases you set up in the standard database.
