Using Sage Estimating (SQL), you can set up a variety of addons, including addons for calculating overhead, profit, insurance costs, and bonds. Examples
To set up a new standard database addon:

Open the Addon window in one of the following ways:
- On the ribbon, from the Adjustments group on the Data tab, click Addons.
- In classic view, click Database menu > Addons.
- From the Totals window, click or select Edit Addon from the shortcut menu.

(optional) If you opened the window from the Totals window, select Database for the Source.

Click [Add].

Complete the fields in the window. You can use [Copy] and [Prefill] for this purpose. At a minimum, you need to complete the Addon, Description, Cost bases & Selection, and Rate fields.

When you finish setting up the addon, click [OK] to save it.

Set up other addons in the same manner. When you finish, click [Close].
Tips:
- A rate can be expressed as a percent or a monetary amount. Example
- If you want the Addon window to remain in add mode after you save each new record, use the automatic add mode option.
