Choosing the markups (addons) to use for the estimate
Deleting an addon from the Totals window
Before you start
If you have not already done so, open the Totals window in one of the following ways:
- On the ribbon, from the Estimate Views group on the Home tab, click Totals.
- In classic view, click Takeoff menu > Estimate Totals, or click
on the toolbar.
To create an addon for this estimate only:

Right-click an addon, and then select Insert One-time Addon from the shortcut menu.
The new addon Is inserted above the cursor position.

Complete the fields in the window. You can use [Copy] and [Prefill] for this purpose. At a minimum, you need to complete the Addon, Description, Cost bases & Selection, and Rate fields.
- Click [OK] to insert the new addon above the cursor position.
Tips:
- You can use Edit Addon to copy an estimate addon to the standard database. (For more information, see Copying an estimate addon to the standard database.)
- You can rearrange the order of addons in the Totals window. (For more information, see Moving rows in the Totals window.)
