Viewing general standard database information

You set up and edit information for standard databases using the Standard Databases window in the Estimating Management Console.

When you create a new estimate, Sage Estimating (SQL) copies the settings from the standard database to the new estimate. You can then use the Estimate Settings window (Home tab > Settings) to customize the information for the estimate.

You can view the existing settings for an open standard database from the Estimating application, as follows:

  1. Open the Database Settings window:

    • On the File menu, click Standard Database Settings.
    • In classic view, click Database menu > Database Settings.
  2. When you finish, click [OK] to save your entries.
