Duplicate Estimate command

Use this command to create a new estimate that is an exact duplicate of an existing estimate. You can choose to retain or clear the quantities and amounts in the duplicate estimate.

To use this command, click File > Duplicate Estimate.

Note: In Estimating and the Estimating Management Console, copying an estimate makes an exact copy of an existing estimate. Duplicating an estimate copies the estimate, and it lets you: Clear quantities and amounts from the original estimate.Restrict access to the estimate to administrators.

Tip: If you often enter the same information for each job, it may be useful to create a single estimate as a template that you can use whenever you create a new estimate. Not only can this save you time, it also ensures consistency among your estimates.
