Default Values (Item Takeoff Settings)

Use this command to open the Item Takeoff Settings window. There you can specify what locationor WBS values Sage Estimating (SQL) should automatically assign to items during takeoff.

• On the ribbon, from the Takeoff group on the Takeoff tab, click Default Values.
• In classic view, click View > Item Takeoff Settings.

You use this command to turn this feature on or off for the current estimate.

This command is active if a ü appears next to the command.

• When the command is off, you need to enter manually the locationand WBS values for each item.
• When the command is on, Sage Estimating (SQL) automatically prefills the locationand WBS values for items during takeoff. Sage Estimating (SQL) continues prefilling this information until you turn off the Item Takeoff Settings command.
