Remigrating the Address Book

If you migrated an address book that you maintain in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Accounting, it is likely that the Address Books in the two applications will differ over time as you add and modify contacts.

To keep the Sage Estimating SQL Address Book up to date, you can migrate it again. The migration process adds any new contacts and updates any existing contacts that changed in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate since you last migrated the Address Book. It does not delete any contacts that do not exist in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate.

Note: You do not need to be a system administrator to migrate the Address Book. Any user with access to the Estimating Management Console and Migrate data (limited) permission can update a previously migrated Address Book.

To migrate the Address Book again:

1. In the Data Migration window, select step 4—Event Log.

2. In the Migration event log, right-click the most recently migrated address book.

3. Click [Remigrate].
