This window is used to select the items and specify the takeoff quantities needed for an estimate. The window contains a list of standard database items, a pane showing the variables from the formulas, and a grid showing the selected items. The toolbar and shortcut menu provide commands to help with the process. Sage Estimating (SQL) sends the items into the spreadsheet when you click [OK].
To open the Item Takeoff window:
- On the ribbon, from the group on the tab, click .
- In classic view, click Takeoff > Item Takeoff or click
on the toolbar.
Tip: If
your settings allow it, you can add a new item by selecting Add
New Item. For more information, click 
on the toolbar,
and then click a field or button.
