About Pasting Items with WBS Codes

Database Editor pastes the values of WBS codes in either of the following circumstances:

• You paste the items into the same database.

• You paste the items into another database. Note that if the two databases have different WBS structures (for example, more, fewer, different names, or a different order), the WBS values are pasted from the clipboard into the database by position, without regard to WBS name. Pasting an entire row may give unexpected results. In this case, you can hide and reorder the WBS columns in the two databases so they match, and then copy and paste only those columns.
