The generation status of a model indicates where it is in the takeoff process. The status indicates the following conditions:
Ready to
Generate – The model has never been generated and is ready to be
pulled into the spreadsheet.
On hold – The model cannot be generated to the spreadsheet because you have put
it on hold.
On hold – Interview error – The model cannot be generated to the spreadsheet
because it is incomplete in some way. It may have values that are out
of limits or include items, assemblies, or formulas that are no longer
in the database.
In estimate – The model has been generated to the spreadsheet and has not changed.
Ready to
Re-generate – The model was previously generated to the spreadsheet
and has since changed. It is now ready to be regenerated to the spreadsheet.
In estimate – Generated with errors – The model has been generated to the spreadsheet
and contains errors.
Tip: There is no status for group and database models.
