Creating an addon for this estimate only

Before you start

If you have not already done so, open the Totals window in one of the following ways:

On the ribbon, from the Estimate Views group on the Home tab, click Totals.

To create an addon for this estimate only:

Right-click an addon, and then select Insert One-time Addon from the shortcut menu.

Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

The new addon Is inserted above the cursor position.
Complete the fields in the window. You can use [Copy] and [Prefill] for this purpose. At a minimum, you need to complete the Addon, Description, Cost bases & Selection, and Rate fields.

For more information, click on the title bar of the window, and then click a field or button.
Click [OK] to insert the new addon above the cursor position.

Tips:

You can use Edit Addon to copy an estimate addon to the standard database. (For more information, see Copying an estimate addon to the standard database.)
You can rearrange the order of addons in the Totals window. (For more information, see Moving rows in the Totals window.)
