Select/Edit Database WBS Values window
You use the Edit Database WBS Values window to define valid values for WBS codes in an open standard database.
You use the Select Database WBS Values window to select valid WBS values when you are working with WBS codes in a database.

Display the WBS tab in the Database Settings window.
On the ribbon, select the Data tab, and then in the group, click .

Open the Edit Database WBS Values window:

In the grid on the WBS tab, right-click the WBS Code for which you want to enter values.

To add a new WBS value:
- Click []. to create a new row in the grid.
- In the Value column for the new row, type five alphanumeric characters.
- In the Description column, type a description to help you to remember how this value is used when you need to select a value for the WBS code, later.
- Double-click in the Unit column, and then select a unit of measure for this WBS value from the dropdown list.
- Double-click in the Notes column, type any supplementary comments you need in the Notes window, and then click [].
To edit an existing WBS value, simply type a new value, description, or note for the value, or select a different unit, .
To delete an existing WBS value, click the row indicator
to select the value you want to delete, and then click []. -
When you have finished adding and editing values for the selected WBS code, click [] to close the Edit Database WBS Values window.
After adding database WBS values
You can export the list of values to Microsoft Excel, where you can use that program to easily edit the list. You can then import the values back into the database.
