Edit Spreadsheet Filters window
The Edit Spreadsheet Filters window lists all the filters you added and filters that others may have shared with you. You can use it to:
- View a list of existing filters.
- Duplicate an existing filter.
- Export a list of existing filters to an Excel file.
- Import a list of spreadsheet filters that were exported previously to an Excel file.
- Rename a selected filter.
- Remove a selected filter or restore a filter you just deleted.
- Open the expression editor to edit a selected filter.
To open the Edit Spreadsheet Filters window:
On the ribbon, from the Spreadsheet Display group on the Home tab, click the Filters
button.

| [Add] | Click to open the Edit Spreadsheet Filter Expression window, where you can construct a new logical expression to filter items on the spreadsheet using the fields, operators, functions, and field values available in the expression editor. |
| [Duplicate] | Select a filter on the grid, and then click to create a copy of the existing filter. |
| [Remove] | Select a filter on the grid, and then click to delete the selected filter. |
| [Restore] |
Click to restore a deleted filter. Note: You can restore filters only until you close the window. |

| Filter Expression |
This is the logical expression used to filter items when this filter is applied to the spreadsheet sequence. |
| Name | This is the name used to identify the filter. You can rename a filter by double-clicking in the cell and typing over the existing name. |
| Shared | A check mark in this column indicates that a filter is shared with other users. You can share or make a filter private by entering or clearing the Shared check mark. |

Click the ellipsis icon to open the selected filter in the Edit Spreadsheet Filter Expression window, where you can change the filter expression. |
