Spreadsheet rows

The contents of the horizontal rows are based on the sort levels of the spreadsheet sequence. The lowest level contains the items taken off for the estimate.

Tips:  

  • To select a row, click the row header at the far left of the row.

  • To select all the rows, press Ctrl+A.

  • To expand or collapse a row, double-click its row header at the left of the spreadsheet.

    The row header is the fixed column along the far left side of the spreadsheet or Totals page.

    • Click to select the whole row.
    • In a spreadsheet window only, you can double-click to expand or collapse a row.
    • Right-click to change the font for the selected rows.
  • To delete rows, select one or more rows, and then select Delete Row on the shortcut menu.

    Deleting a group phase or phase also deletes all the items within that level.

  • A notepad icon The Notes button appears on the row header if a note has been entered.

  • To change the height of a row, drag the bottom border of its row header in either direction.

  • An asterisk (*) appears on the row headers of combined items.

  • Special fonts and color can be used to identify items with a zero total and lump amounts.
